SHAHADAH CHRONICLES

 OF

PREVAILING ISSUES

Dear Community of Believers:  As-salaamu `alaykum.

Because of Prevailing Issues in the Islamic Community At-Large, the Editorial Staff (ES) of Shahadah sees the need for these issues to be addressed through the U.S. National Amirate of Amir Abdallah Yasin,  Amir of The International Amirate of Masjid Baytul-Khaliq, Inc.  In each issue of Shahadah the ES intends to present a particular Prevailing Issue.  Inshaa’Allah.

THE AMIR RULES,  NOT THE (IGNORANT) MAJORITY.

Today we find Muslims in “aware” and “unaware” imitation and adoption of kuffar practices in all areas of their lives.  Many so-called Islamic Communities are governed by a “board” or a "committee" wherein the kuffar process of democracy is the means in which matters are decided and settled.  In other words, they adopt the democratic principle of majority rule.  This method, by its nature, is a mother to its bastard child, “political corruption”; because in every situation, by the natural order of things, leaders must rise to the top in every group.  Under "majority rule", these natural leaders then, by the necessity of  leaders having their way, must resort to “political manipulation” and “power plays” among the other members of the group.  This practice is inescapable.

Even Muslim countries have and are acquiescing to Western arm twisting techniques (financial and/or military) and accepting so-called democracy.  Wherever one looks in the world today, one finds countries in desperate economic and financial difficulties as a direct result of the diabolical Jewish usurious monetary system, which has, by their design, ensnared the entire world, and unrelentingly sucks its life’s-blood.  This is the plan of the vampire monetarists.  They have no mercy. Some people may get offended that I have identified it as “Jewish”.  Well, it is precisely that and luminous proofs are everywhere, once your “blinders” are removed.  It was the same monetarists who controlled "old world" Europe and promoted the aching poverty and disparity of wealth among the populations of Europe.  As the hordes of European peasants arrived in America, they unwittingly carried with them the seed of destruction which oppressed them in Europe; the acceptance of usurious concepts, which is a naturally destructive virus in any democratic organ of government.

Every form of government which has arisen in this hemisphere with the coming of Europeans, including "Democracy", was born and nurtured in a usurious invironment.  The Zionist "usurious monetary system" was in place prior to Democracy, which is only a two hundred year experiment which is failing and dying right before our very eyes.  And we see our American Muslim groups (and Muslim countries) in imitation!  `Authubillaah.  In truth, these pretenders to Islamic Salvation, fear Islamic rule.  They fear to, un-tauntingly, but bravely, stand out in front, as the leaders they should be, prepared to fend off the battle ax of the oppressing majority, if and when it comes.  Where their trust should be in Allah, it is in the kuffar system.  Therefore, we see

American Muslims cowardly playing the stupid game of group leadership, in the hopes that they will survive within a kuffar government by their imitation of it.

For African-American Muslims, it is worse, in that they have been taught not to trust each other by a wicked and surreptitiously continuing slave-system, controlled by Zionists, who loves none of them.  And if the Truth be known, as it is given to us in The Noble Qur’aan, they (the disbelievers) do not like nor trust each other!  Additionally, the Qur’aan tells the world about the Jew in great detail.  Which is why he will not rest without plotting to undo Islam as he planned and plotted against the Prophet MuHammad (may Allah bless him and grant him peace).  And every so often, the Zionists will get a Frederick (the Liar) K. C. Price to do their work for them. (See Prevailing Issues, Article 2, in this issue of Shahadah.)

Therefore, we see that Muslims of this age have adopted, from Anti-Muslim influences, the aspect of  “majority rule” by way of “majority vote”.  It has thus been accepted by them that the way of honesty, integrity, correct action and truth is in what the majority decides!  In nearly every kuffar style Constitution and By-Laws of Muslim Organizations and Societies, necessitated by kuffar State governments, we will find the clause of “a two thirds majority” as if it was predicated upon the Qur’aan and the Sunnah!  And rather than use this document as a necessity of Incorporation, they adopt it as their "religious" code of law. The Muslim drafters of these Constitutions and By-Laws give greater importance to this “two thirds majority” nonsense than to the Shari`ah of Islam.  It reveals the drafters perverse way of thinking and reflects their inner feeling and belief that Islamic precepts are inferior to western concepts. For, if they abandoned this perverse way of thinking and acting, their Corporate Constitutions, and particulary their By-Laws can, in fact, be structured to honor Islamic Methodology!

Therefore, we have an apparent enslavement of these Muslim minds to this “majority-democratic” concept.  The factual realities are, without exception, that the “majority” are always the ignorant people!  This is absolutely contrary to the lofty state of Islamic intelligence, which is always based upon strict observance and obedience to the Sunnah of Prophet MuHammad (may Allah bless him and grant him peace).  The Muslim mind and thinking must be guided and perform along the principles of the Shari`ah and not by some “majority decision, which, of necessity, is borne of personal opinion based upon one’s nafs.  On the matter of “majority decision”, The Wise Qur’aan says:   “If you follow (obey) the majority of those on earth, they wold mislead you far from Allah’s way.  They follow nothing except opinion and they do nothing but guess.”   (Qur’aan 6:117)

It is an established fact that the intelligent and wise ones are always in the minority.  Therefore, intelligently, we must understand, and accept, that this wise (and specially guided and empowered) minority cannot, like dumb animals, follow the ignorant “majority” and submit to some "democratic" nonsense!  Au contrare, the Shari`ah of Islam commands that the “majority” follow the intelligent minorityEven if the minority be a single person!

This "democratic" nonsense is woven into the fabric of Western society in a way to make the "little man" think that he is empowered; the same way the "vote" is used.  Take a look at the Court System in the United States. Not withstanding that racism and religious prejudice are evils, which make up the fabric of this society, a court case may be simple or very complex (as are most).  Yet, depending on the State, a jury of 12 or 6 ignorant persons, who have little or no knowledge of the law, are given the duty to decide the fate of the Defendant(s) and that of the Plaintiff (s)! They do not have the knowledge nor have they the training nor the disciplines to assimilate fact from fiction.  In most cases they do nothing but guess.

Islam does not endorse, in any way what so ever, a parliamentary system of government, which, by its very nature of conception, consists of a preponderance of dumb and ignorant members, who have been elected by a dumb and ignorant majority, whose allegiances change with the blowing of the winds.  In today’s world, the democratic processes reveal that the ignorant majority elects a representative on one day, and the next, the same group have switched allegiances to another, and are in nafsani bouts with themselves to undo what they have done!  This nonsensical play of “musical political chairs” also take place among Muslims who turn their nafsani backs on Islamic Examples and choose to adopt and embrace the ways and norms of the kuffar.

Islam invests ruling authority in a single intelligent and wise individual who qualifies to be a Representative of Allah, Ta`alaa.  Islamic History bears irrefutable testimony to this established fact.  Through authentic sources, we vicariously witness the first Representative of Rasullulah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), Amirul-Mu’mneen Abu Bakr being appointed by a single intelligent and wise man of Allah, `Umar bin Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with them both).  No vote, nor any democratic principle was involved to decide who was to going to occupy the highest and most important Islamic Office, the office of Khilaafah. Similarly, the next Amirul-Mu’mineen of the Ummah was `Umar bin Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), who was appointed, again, by a single individual, Amirul-Mu’mineen Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him).  There was no majority vote, no parliamentary procedure, no consultative democratic council to ratify this decision of that one wise and intelligent Abu Bakr (radi Allahu `anhu).  It is a historical fact that the “majority” had no right to decide or ratify who would fill this great post.  The duty of the majority was to follow, and they did exactly that, in spite of the known fact that among the Sahabah (may Allah be pleased with them all) there existed numerous Ulama and great men of intelligence, insight, exemplary wisdom, enviable piety and superior knowledge of the Shari`a.

In like manner, the third representative of Rasululah, Amirul-Mu’mineen `Uthman bin Affan (radi Allahu `anhu) was appointed from a panel of six Sahabah. They, were themselves appointed by a single wise and intelligent individual, viz., Amirul-Mu’mineen `Umar bin Al-Khattab (radi Allahu `anhu), who had greatly detailed the method of appointment of his successor down to the minutest detail and charged this panel to act according to his dictates. Further, he commanded that the majority accept and submit to the decision of this minority!

From these excellent examples we see that the entire spirit of Islam directs to the system of intelligent minority and not to following a dumb and ignorant majority which is, in fact, responsible for all the anarchy and mischief (fitnah and fasaad) which we witness engulfing the entire world today.

It is the Allah-inspired Sunnah of Prophet MuHammad (Sallallahu `alayhi wasallam) which authorizes the dominance of the minority, even though the minority be a single individual.

Allahu (subHana wa ta`alaa) is One.  He sent His Prophets and Messengers, who were His representatives in their individual capacities.  In both the spiritual and the mundane affairs of Islam, the direction is given by an individual who possesses the requisite intelligence.  Each century (?) Allah, Ta`alaa, sends a Mujaddid who fulfills the duties of his mission in his singular and individual capacity.  The Imams of the Math-ahib were authorities in their singular and individual capacities, which were not creations of any majority.  The Mashaaykh of Tasawwuf were and are all individuals who do not operate along majority rule concepts.    The established fact is, the question of majority decisions has never been a Shar`i principle.  In Islam, the majority has always been made subservient to the minority.  In the kuffar West, the opposite is the rule. And in their not too distant past, when their kings, queens and nobles supposedly ruled under the banner of Christianity, they were hardly ever restrained, by their faith, from being brutal oppressors.  Nor today!

In Islam it is the minority operating along the principles and guidance of the Shari`ah, who controls, commands and directs the majority.  And this intelligent and wise minority is not appointed nor elected by the majority!

Even where the Amirul-Mu’mineen, or any Amir for that matter, has some kind of Advisory Council (Majlis) to assist in the affairs of Islam, Amirate or Community, the decision of such advisory body is not binding upon the Amir.  The decision of such an Advisory Council will be in the capacity of “advice” only, and the acceptance of such advice is not obligatory upon the Amir.  The Amir is not subservient to his Advisory council.  On the contrary, the Advisory Council is subservient to the Amir whose decision will be final as long as it conforms to the Shari`ah.  In Islam, the Amir is no figure-head or puppet to be manipulated by the majority. He is a man of wisdom and intelligence.  His superiority is an establsihed Shar`i fact.  The conception of Western or kuffar equality is not entertained in Islam.  If the majority or even the unanimous opinion of the Amir’s Advisory Council, which of course consists of intelligent men, conflicts with the opinion or decision of the Amir, the Shari`ah entitles him to reject their unanimous opinion and legislate on the basis of his own decision based upon Shar`I principles.

A classical example of the dominance and prevalence of minority decision over majority decision is Amirul-Mu’minee Abu Bakr’s rejection of the unanimous advice and opinion of all the Sahabah on the question of waging war (jihaad) against the deniers of Zakaat.  After the demise of Rasululah (may Allah bless him and grant him abundant peace), some tribes reneged from Islam.  They became murtad (rejectors of Islamic principles).  Some linked up with Musailimah Al-Kath-thaab, the claimant of nubuwwat (prophethood).  Others, while not joining with the open rejectors of Islam, denied the fardhiyat (obligatory nature) of Zakaat.  They proclaimed themselves to be Muslim and they pronounced Tauheed (Oneness of Allah) and risaalat ( MuHammad as Rasul), accepted the ka`bah as the Qiblah and accepted the fardhiyat of Salaat.  But, they interpreted away from the obligation of Zakaat, claiming that the fardhiyat of Zakaat was confined to the period of Rasululah’s (Sallallahu `alayhi wasallam) life-time only.

Regarding the first group, viz., Musailimah Al-Kath-thaab and his followers, all of the Sahabah agreed to wage jihaad against them because there was no ambiguity in them being murtad.

In regard to the second group, all of the Sahabah, including the sternest (`Umar, radi Allahu `anhu), with the exception of Amirul-Mu’mineen Abu Bakr (radi Allah `anhu) adopted a conciliatory attitude.  They were all of the opinion that the latter group was proclaiming itself to be Muslim, subscribing to all the fundamental doctrines and tenets of Islam and did not openly reject Zakaat, but by way of interpretation (ta`weel) confined it to the age of Rasululah (Sallallahu alayhi wassallam).  They, therefore, felt that jihaad against Muslims was not permissable.  The Sahabah, through their spokesman, Sayyiduna `Umar ( radi Allahu `anhu) advised Amirul-Mu’mineen abu Bakr (radi Allahu `anhu) to adopt caution and concilliation.  They were all unanimously against jihaad against the second group.  However, not-withstanding the unanimous decision and advice of the Sahabah, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (radi Allahu `anhu) firmly rejected the solid and unanimous majority opinion and commanded the waging of jihaad against all deniers of Zakaat, whether the denial was outright rejection or based upon interpretation.  The decision of the single individual, Amirul-Mu’mineen Abu Bakr (radi Allahu `anhu) dominated the scene and prevailed.  All the Sahabah submitted without any dispute.  This then is the rank and position of the minority in Islam.

A portion of this article has been inspired by an article published many years ago, of unknown authorship.  I have greatly expanded upon and embellished the article’s concepts and added my own. May All Mighty Allah  protect in Islam and/or have mercy upon whom-so-ever he may  have been.   Ameen.
