Because of Prevailing Issues in the Islamic Community At-Large, the Editorial Staff (ES) of Shahadah sees the need for these issues to be addressed through the U.S. National Amirate of Amir Abdallah Yasin, Amir of The International Amirate of Masjid Baytul-Khaliq, Inc. WITH THE DISEASE COMES ITS CURE ANOTHER CASE FOR AMIRATE-AMERICA
Abu Hurayrah (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAAWS) said: When a fly falls into the pot of one of you, let him immerge it entirely and then throw it off, because there is cure in one of its wings and disease in the other. (Bukhari) Abu Hurayrah (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAAWS) said: When a fly falls in the utensil of one of you immerge it, because there is disease in one of its wings and cure in another, and also because it first throws its wing wherein there is disease. Therefore, immerge it entirely. (Abu Daud) Abu Sayeed al-Khudry reported from the Messenger of Allah (SAAWS), who said: When a fly falls in food, drown it, because there is poison in one of its wings and cure in another, and also because it takes out poison first and then cure last. (Shari Sunnat)
“Modern” medicine has learned this to be true and when a “new” disease strikes, the first mission of medical scientists is to isolate the biological agent, which caused the disease. Then, the “bug” (bacteria, virus, fungus, venom, etc.) becomes the building-block for a cure, antidote and/or treatment.
The above stated Prophetic advice is also applicable to Muslims in America desiring to live an Islamic life.
As I’ve already written in these pages, the idea of Hijrah from America is a “romantic notion”. Since the dis-mantling of the Islamic Khalifate, there exists today not one Islamic country on the face of the earth. Therefore, there is nowhere to run! To run to “a so-called Muslim country”, ruled by corrupt non-Islamic rulers, and to be looked down upon by its own second-class citizens, would be a worse scenario, which does not propose, and certainly does not guarantee us a better future. Secondly, to “run lock, stock and barrel” to another’s land is not consistent with Allah’s Sunnah, considering it must have been in Allah’s Plan that Islam was to be transported to this land; a transplant which began many centuries ago, many years prior to the development of this country! Therefore, it is reasonable to conclude that the earlier African & Asian Muslims who came to the Americas, and made contact with the Native-Americans, and the African Muslims who were later brought to the Americas as captives, were destined to be in this land, to multiply and prevail by Allah’s Decree! To run away from the struggle for our destiny in this land, which is only known to Allah, is madness, or simply a “romantic notion”.
We, mixed blooded Americans, of African and Native-American ancestry, are a unique people. A truly “made in America” genesis. No one has more right to this land. Those of us, whom by Allah’s Mercy, have been returned to Islam, are duty bound, as were Allah’s Messengers, to spread His Deen among the evil-living people whom we find ourselves among. To “run” to another country is to desert our duty. Clearly, one must perform his duty before he can claim his rights! And to whom is this duty owed and to whom do we make our claim? To none other than Allah!
“At last the disbelievers said to their Messengers: ‘You shall either return to our religion or we will banish you from our land.’ Then their Lord revealed to them, ‘We will destroy these evil doers and after them settle you in the land. This is the reward of the one who dreads that he is accountable to Me and is afraid of the threat of my punishment.’ They had sought a judgment (and the judgment was passed on them) and every tyrant, the enemy of the Truth, suffered ignominy. Then after this Hell lies before him where he shall get tainted water to drink, which he shall try to gulp down, but will scarcely swallow it. Death shall surround him on all sides, yet he shall not die; and before him shall be a grievous torment.” The Noble Qur’aan, 14:13-17
Therefore: Believers must not become bewildered by the “apparent” national-might of the evil-doing people.
“The works of those who disbelieved may be likened to the ashes which the wind scatters on a stormy day. They shall not be able to gain anything from what they did. This is the extreme deviation. Do you not see that Allah has based the creation of the heavens and the earth on truth? If He will, He can put you away and bring in a new creation in your place. And that is not at all a difficult thing for Allah.” The Noble Qur’aan 14:18-20
“Allah has promised to those of you who believe and do good that He will surely make them rulers in the earth as He made those before them rulers, and the He will surely establish for them their religion, which He has chosen for them, and that He will surely give them security in exchange after their fear. They shall serve Me, not associating anything with Me. And whoever is ungrateful after this, they are the transgressors.” The Noble Qur’aan, 24:55
America is diseased, but so is the rest of the world! America’s influence pervades the planet. So, please allow me to now concentrate on America.
We Muslims must understand that this Deen of Islam is about the correct worship of the One and Only God, Allah. AND, correct behavior, which is outlined in Allah’s Book, The Qur’aan, and “The Way” of His Messenger, MuHammad (SAAWS).
Recognizing America’s “sickness”, by Allah alone, rightly guided Muslims are its only cure.
Therefore, like the medical scientist, Muslims must separate themselves (as the cure) from the disease! This is the role of Amirate-America, because, by analogy, we Muslim Americans who are trying to practice Islam while living among non-believers and their “conglomeration of sickness” (living as minorities within their cities and communities) are like people trying to wash white clothes clean in dirty water! It cannot be done! Wherever Muslims are, the rightly guided among them MUST develop a society, a living environment, which will safeguard their spiritual lives. A “Society” must have its own identifying ideological, physical, psychological and spiritual parameters. An Islamic Society does not exist, cannot exist, as an integral minority element within a non-Muslim society! The Quakers of Pennsylvania, the Mormons of Utah, the Amish, and countless lesser-known groups, throughout America, have developed their own societies based upon the same notion that has been activated here. And I say activated because our success in America depends upon us working to make this happen for us.
“……. Verily, Allah never changes a people’s state until (unless) they change what is in themselves……..” The Noble Qur’aan, 13:11
Muslims NEED Amirate-America. because Amirate-America is an Inspired Idea whose time has come. AMIRATE-AMERICA IS THE NEXT EVOLUTIONARY STEP FOR ISLAM ON THE NORTH AMERICAN CONTINENT. AMIRATE-AMERICA REPRESENTS THE FUTURE OF ISLAM IN AMERICA; perhaps, the world!
AMIRATE-AMERICA IS THE VEHICLE WHICH SINCERE MUSLIMS NEED TO SUCCEED IN AMERICA, to change themselves, to change America, to change the world!
Can this happen for Muslims in America? The answer is an unqualified YES! And the fact that it can happen is a part of the cure! Because, as bad as things may be in this country, it is far better than they would be for American Muslims in any so-called destination of Hijrah! The fact is that Muslims, Christians, Jews, Buddhists, ANYONE, any law-abiding group is FREE to do whatever it wants to do, in America. There are possibly hundreds of small (and not so small) Christian towns in the U.S. (particularly in the South) where liquor and/or cigarettes are not sold any day of the week! This freedom is America’s greatness. Any idea of Hijra, determined in the minds of some men, for America’s growing Muslim population is nonsense. Only Allah, can CAUSE a mass migration of the magnitude romantically espoused by some. AMIRATE-AMERICA is the course of our destiny in America. The advancing concept of AMIRATE-AMERICA is the cure for all Americans or the Salvation for Muslims when Allah’s threat comes to pass. Inshaa’Allah. And it is worthy to note the severe weather punishing America. The American disbelievers blame it on “Mother Nature”, never daring to speak of the Creator of “Mother Nature”! As Allah says in His Book: “The disbelievers are not just unmindful of the Heare-After, they are blind to it!”
Clearly, those who espouse “hijrah” do not realize that this “romantic notion” plays into the hands of the enemies of Islam, for Allah’s threat is already “in play” upon America. This can be seen and understood by the so-called “natural” calamities continually and increasingly befalling her, as I wrote about in the previous issue of Shahadah (Vol. 18, No.1).
Allah, Al-Haseeb/The Reckoner, never fails in His promise.
“…….As for the disbelievers, because of their misdeeds, one affliction or the other does not cease to visit them, or come near their home. It will go on like this until Allah’s threat comes to pass. Indeed, Allah does not (ever) fail to bring about His threat/promise………” The Noble Qur’aan, 13: 31
I conclude with a quote from William Jefferson Clinton. A man with whom I shared very few points of agreement. However, I believe this is the greatest thing he has said about this country: “There is nothing wrong with America, which cannot be fixed with what is right with America.” To that, I say: “Ameen.” And I add: “Islam is what is right with America!”
“AMIRATE-AMERICA” is what is right for America.” “AMIRATE-AMERICA” is the cure for America.” “AMIRATE-AMERICA” represents salvation for American Muslims. Ameen. Ameen. Ameen.
